Episode 12: Building a Home Practice w/ Sarah Nickelson
In this episode, Amy had the pleasure to sit with Sarah Nickelson to discuss her new workshop “Building a Home Practice.” In this workshop, Sarah explains each of the 8 limbs of Yoga, Sequencing, Meditation, Pranayama and goes through some suggested reading material. All of this prepares the student to create a home practice that integrates seamlessly with their lifestyle. Yoga can be found on and off of the mat in so many ways and Sarah makes all of this very accessible in her workshop.
Sarah is a driven Yoga teacher with a passion for philosophy and strength-building which she sprinkles throughout each and every one of her classes. Her classes, titled Roots, Strong & Calm, Yin and Restore, touch on anything from the fundamentals of Yoga, to stamina, stillness, and overall wellbeing. Each of her studio classes could serve as a foundation for “Building a Home Practice.”
Sarah currently teaches at Honor Yoga Princeton and Honor Yoga Flemington. Check out our website Honoryoga.com to get her teaching schedule or check out her brand new website sarahelizabethnickelson.com to connect with her
